I had them both in the bottom menu bar which made switching between the radio and media pretty easy. I dislike that they combined the radio and media buttons into one button. I like that you no longer have to go through the landing page when you switch from nav to something else (like music) and back to nav. Maybe it is a little more responsive, or I could be imagining that it is. So far the new software is generally good. I'm hoping that someone on this forum has some inside information that might shed some light on this. Instead I thought I would ask here first in case they sent me the wrong update. Is it possible that they sent me the wrong software update? I'm guessing that the v39.2 is referring to software version 18.39.2 (maybe) and not application version 39.2? If it's the application version, how in the world could my application version be current when they are already up to version 39.2 and I have 22.5? If its the software version, going from 18.33.24 to 18.39.2 is a fairly big step in version number. The software update is labeled SBX QR SW v39.2 Only one software update was included in the package with the map update (the instructions say sometimes two software updates are required). So then, how can there be a software update required for the map update when I already have the newest software version? The software version on my radio is currently 18.33.24 and the application version is IR 22.5.0 and I've been told by the dealership and by the Uconnect help line that my software and application are the newest version. The map update came with a software update that they say is required before installing the map update. So, right or wrong, I went ahead and purchased the 2020 map update for my 4C NAV system.
